hey family!
long time, no hear
I saw logan and I must say it resonated with me. It made a lightbulb go off that forced me to analyze several issues.
It didn't totally match the comic book, but there were several things that were close to home like, the corn syrup being related to the legacy virus. (Legacy virus was meant to stop the mutation in MUTANTS. whats more interesting is that you have to ask, what does corn syrup do? i think it leads to diabetes.)
Logans daughter x -23 was the most stable, and better clones out of all of wolverines clones. the y chromosone degraded outside of his body forcing the doctor to use two x chromosomes to create her. it's like the writer are trying to shift us to a new (feminine)ideal.
all of these new mutants are being hunted down and in hiding trying to make it to "eden". exactly where is eden and who is there if all of the natural mutants are dead?
these "created" mutants seem to still find their way out of society and make it back to a place where they can grow their powers and live in peace (temporarily). protected by more advanced mutants in THE MOUNTAINS. (why is the government building in denver?) (what does the hopi say about the mountains in the end times? i think they say they have to rebuild life in the moutains after the "armegeddon").
LOGAN has been sought after by everyone for his healing powers. the government put a rare heavy metal in him to poison him and eventually kill him. notice it was done while he was in water. (flouride) he needed EXTRA manipulation to slow him down than the other mutants.. he needed something bonded right to him. stryker never told him that the "heavy metal" would eventually kill him.
logan has natural instincts and lives like a savage (animal). he seems to naturally gravitate to being in the woods (earth). he has worked in the woods, and lived in the mountains. his memories have been wiped but he slowly regained them. allowing him to get revenge on those who manipulated and suppressed him. Everyone he loves is stripped away from him. he has fought in all of the major present day wars (hmmm???) his half brother doesn't heal as fast as him not making him a candidate to "need" the heavy metal, but he craves it but doesn't realize it will kill him slowly like logan. it makes you wonder..... who is logan really? who did the writer have in mind?
he is protecting one of the powerful minds in the universe! prof x's mind is now considered a weapon of mass destruction by the government. Prof X can manipulate time and space and find others just like him. but he is physically handicap. he can transplant his consciousness in other bodies. when his mind goes haywire it stops everything around it. the government has raided his home several times. his home holds the key to find every mutant in the universe through a device called "cerebro". who is prof x really??
are mutants the ones with the ability to manipulate the new reality and the government wants to stop them, so they can profit off of it? the writer chris says he relates the charaters to "jews" and the holocaust. he also relates some characters to malcom x and martin luther king.

these were just some things that stood out to me that made go, hmmm????
hope everyone enjoys their day !!!!
