I posted a reflection this morning in the EE-Breathing Program thread, where I shared a realization of losing my 'pocket of grief'...that I realize that I'm feeling happier these days, most possibly which is due to practicing the EE breathing exercises and meditation.
I happened to open my most recent notebook, and the first page has this 'poem' written in early August 09:
I stretched my sorrow
All the way from Boulder Creek to
The Bay of Fundy
To try to rid myself of you.
Drove across all that land
To rid myself of that one grain of sand,
The sorrow of the universe,
Perpetuating ignorance,
Invigorating misery.
