My auntie has a fading sight but razor-sharp mind, and only opening that book forced her to exclaim a couple of non-translatable but clear-cut evaluations regarding that book. And she was right! I later found that book on-line. It’s a full-blown sick bag ‘Manual on Persuasion and Seduction’ writen by a Russian pick-up artist Philip Bogachev, known on rusnet as mankubus.
There is an active ‘pick-up’ community of persuasion artists practiced in the art of getting what one wants, using modern arsenal of psychology, hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to seduce women. Bogachev is one of many ‘artists’ practiced in the art of deception, and a teacher of many more dysfunctional youth lacking sense of responsibility and willing to get sexual gratification by manipulation and deceit.
Bogachev with analytical mathematical mind maps successive stages of psychological manipulation to effectively seduce a woman from the first visual contact, building sort of a manipulative ‘staircase’ through acquaintance, auditory contact, communication, kinesthetic contact, creation of rapport according to scale of accrued ‘values’, exiting into a resource mode, goodbye-farewell kiss, and final ‘aftertaste’ stage of ‘introspection’ to ensure that the sexual gratification needs of a pickupist’s have been met.

Primatologist Frans de Waal, the author of Our Inner Ape wrote that some alphas are indeed bullies, but has also discovered that, in primates, those that use bullying strategies are usually overthrown by the gang after a short time. In contrast, most alphas are “populists.” They keep the peace in the troop by breaking up fights and supporting reconciliation after aggression takes place. The populist male’s alpha position is much more stable than the bully’s. In one case, a populist primate was found to occupy the alpha position for more than a decade. Far from being dictators ruling with iron fists, the most successful alphas are beloved and benevolent leaders. Nice guys don’t usually finish last in the primate world, and de Waal also describes the importance of cooperation and peacemaking, a set of behaviors that historically have been ignored by scholars with a blindered, stereotypic view of social relationships in primates.. In other words, aggressivity, manipulativeness are not characteristics of a true alpha-male among primates.
