Saw this film the other day and found it very beautiful and touching.

It is a clay animation that tells the story of a friendship between an Australian 8 year old girl and a peculiar 44 year old man living in New york. Their relationship is developed through years of correspondence and it is very interesting to see what they both have to give to each other.

The film deals with themes including childhood neglect, teasing, loneliness, autism (Asperger's Syndrome in particular), obesity, depression and anxiety

I don't really want to say more to avoid spoilling the movie in case you watch it, but you can find more details here: _http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0978762/

I saw this movie a little while back on Netflix. I agree that it was very touching. Unlike most flicks, this movie really took it's time in exploring the quirkiness of the characters and thier lives. Plus, I like Philip Seymour Hoffman's acting skills. Highly recommended.
