medical totalitarianism

The Force is Strong With This One
There was a time when you wanted to write an article or a book you had to write a foreward mentionning that you didn't question the church dogma. That was when the church ruled.

In the communist countries one often had to write a foreward that one's book was in total agreement with dialectical materialism and against bourgeois thinking and hail socialism.

Today, at least in France, when one writes a book about health that is "alternative" one has first to say that of course whatever one has written in no way replaces the diagnostic of an officialy certified physician.
People are so afraid of the Medical Institution that they feel the need to bend first in front of it.

In the communist countries you used to have political commissionar checking you were in line with the ideology.
In France you have the "ordre des medecins".

You cannot borrow money without filling a health form. You cannot practice a sport in a club without a health certificate.
You cannot have a job without an health check.
You cannot buy some products (drugs...) without a prescription from a physician.
The opinion of two psychatrists is enough to lock somebody in a psychatric institution.
You cannot go to school without five vaccinations...

Isn't this a form of totalitarianism? In touches us in our deepest intimity and in many respects is a far sneakier than other forms of social control. OSIT.
