Meteors scorching the earth

I dreamt today with meteors of various size scorching the earth. Some huge, some small, they did lots of damage to structures, but not so much in terms of casualities.
At some point in the dream, giants dressed as heroes came to defend us from the meteors, grabbing them with their bare hands.
In the midst of this I was protecting my family, and I had a feeling that the giants should not see us, or otherwise they would do us harm. Eventually they saw us, entered our home and tried to terrorize us, and I stand for my family against them, and defeated them in a somewhat gory way - I took a piece from the back of the leader with a knife.
He took notice of what happened way after the fact, and them I woke up.

This is the second or third time I dream with meteors that I remember.
The first was when I were young, eleven years old or something, that I dreamt with a gigantic meteor setting everything on its path on fire, and somehow I knew that event was the end of the world.

Well this could be due to events that are fast approaching. One is comet elenin which I think is bound to happen in only a few weeks time and another, I don't know if you've read the SOTT article about it, is NASA is going to crash a satellite onto the planet in acouple of days time.

Not sure, it may mean some of those things. Lately I have been dreaming with things that occur three times, or with the number three.
The other day I dreamed that I needed money, so I asked a friend that I did not know in my waking life for one coin. He gave me three, saying that "you gonna need it."
And today I dreamt that I kissed a girl three times, and that led to unpleasant events.

Yeah.. giants dressed as Marvel and DC superheroes. I still have not much idea of what it meant, if it meant anything. Thanks for the help luke.
