I’ve gathered, here in one place, the predictions for 2007 by Mike Quinsey’s posse of ETs. Only a few might be considered bold, I think. My comments are embedded in green italics.

All told the year has passed without any real trauma, natural or otherwise. [This statement gives away the fact that this message is not universal and is probably aimed at Americans and Brits] Without some change of direction, the outlook is however still grim as the dark forces try to escalate confrontation in the Middle East. You will have noticed that peace talks are rarely if ever on the agenda, and the war machine marches on under the guidance of the Illuminati. Over many years their plan has led to their presence in most countries, and whether as friend or foe their intention is still one of seeking global dominance. For some time their attention has been taken by the South American countries that have spurned their advances. [This is almost surely a reference in particular to Venezuela, Bolivia, and Brazil, all of which have elected or re-elected “leftist� leaders recently. This does not necessarily mean that these leaders are any better – they may be pointed out only to include something plainly observable in this message.] This has caused a delay to their plan, and they plot ways in which to overcome democratically elected leaders.
In the area of weapons development the U.S. spends astronomical amounts of money, particularly on advanced Space weapons. This takes place to the background of a falling dollar and the possibility of devaluation. The dark have no real concern about the future of the people, except that through allowing or creating chaos they promote fear and tighten their grip upon them. The World and its resources are seen as a target for complete control and domination, by an un-elected government that fails to truly represent its people. [People reading this far will be nodding in agreement at the grim picture just painted in their minds, thinking confidently how right this source must be. In fact, in the next paragraph, the source even calls this a “picture.� ]
The picture creates one of despots and criminals taking over the world, but wait because you the people have your own champions who are ready to come forward. You also have the Galactic Forces and many highly evolved Beings with you, working purely in your interests and commands of the Creator. The Creator’s plan is the only one that will be fulfilled… [Here, the source reminds you that there is no need to worry, there are ET saviors at the ready.]
The greatest change has occurred amongst the people who have become enlightened, and now have a greater understanding of the battle that is taking place. Instead of being held down, many have broken out of the shackles of ages past that have denied them their freedom and sovereignty. They now have a realisation of their power to determine their own future… […] [This paragraph contains the commonly used tactic of ego-stroking of the reader. Notice that it is not mere encouragement to press on, which is sometimes called for. It is clearly praise aimed at you, the “enlightened� reader.]
We do much to prevent the dark from creating too many problems, and can nullify their ability to do so. From way out in Space, out of harms (sic) way we continue to monitor all events on Earth. If necessary, we come very close to alleviate the problems arising from the use of advanced electronic technology. [The source is detailing what the saviors are allegedly doing already to protect you, right now.]
Our association with you will become stronger, and soon we will find it possible to make more contacts with you. We do not put anyone at risk, but the time is approaching for a much more open contact with you. One way has already started and working successfully, and that covers the growing number of contacts who are able to receive our messages. This is an important area of communication, and it is essential that more people know of our intentions for the advancement of Humanity. [This is a suggestion that more channels is good or better, and perhaps even a suggestion to read channeled material indiscriminately. This is not only likely to fool anyone who doesn’t realize that not all from the “higher realms� is “of the light,� but may also be a confident assertion by the source that no matter what channeled material you read, it is likely to be STS-oriented. I don’t believe STO would make such a statement without warning that there is negative material out there.]
You have been held back for far too long, and now we make ourselves more known to you but in a way that shows our respect for your sovereignty. We see you as One with us, and our association with you will be based on this understanding. We are your mentors and protectors, and have been with you for millennia of time. In the course of your history you have had encounters with other extraterrestrials, but many simply visit Earth for exploration purposes with no other intent. [ This is more flattery and saviorism. Next, the source insists that you pay no attention to negative activities that you may notice on the part of ETs, particularly Grays. This is quite rich, as this source could be a Gray, for all we know.]
The Greys are not as some believe attempting to take over the people or the Earth itself. They come out of self-interest to promote a programme that will ensure their own survival. It is unfortunate that their activities promote much fear amongst you, but it may be some consolation for you to know that their actions are monitored. They do not have a free hand to do just as they wish. Almost every contact they make with people of Earth is pre-arranged and therefore permissible, although most of them are unaware of this fact.
You have a lot to learn about the great Cosmos that teams with life. However, it will not be much longer before it will be open to you for your exploration. Beforehand you will be educated so as to understand the Laws of Contact, as you cannot interfere with the evolution of others. [The source wants you to believe that the plans it describes are somehow not interference in our evolution.] You will find that once you have achieved a certain level of understanding and a higher consciousness, you will be welcomed to visit other civilisations. The crudity, disregard and inconsideration that Man presently shows for other life forms are unacceptable elsewhere. Can you now see why you have been quarantined upon Earth, and have so far been prevented from travelling into Space? [Almost unbelievably, the source calls man crude and inconsiderate, yet somehow we’re on the brink of “understanding and a higher consciousness� that comes with “ascension?� It doesn’t add up.]

The beginning of every New Year brings much speculation as to what may be in store... On behalf of the Galactic Federation I will give you an idea of the likely outcome, as this year is one full of exciting possibilities.
Firstly, the U.S. Government will come under increasing pressure from the people, because of their refusal to name a realistic date for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. It will help give additional power to those who are preparing ways to remove Bush and his Administration who will be faced with no way out, but will be reluctant to resign. It is therefore difficult to see them lasting the full year out, regardless of any attempts they make to hold onto power. These changes have every possibility of occurring by the autumn, thus leading to the end of the war in Iraq.
Around the end of the summer, the first real signs of dissent will be shown by the people of Israel, over the lack of efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Palestinian problem. It will wake up the authorities to the mounting changes around the world, against allowing the continuation of war. It will result in the laying down of a lasting foundation for peace, and the people will be quick to respond and put their differences behind them.
Gradually the rising demands for peaceful co-existence, will lead to people all around the world putting pressure upon their respective governments and other organisations such as the United Nations. In fact there will be worldwide demonstrations until peace is not only declared, but also seen to be brought into being. The people will not be fooled or accept false promises or hopes, and there will have to be positive moves that can be openly seen to bring peace about.
It is likely that legal wrangling may prolong the outcome of events to bring official world peace. In that case the first major projects of the Galactic Federation may not commence until early 2008. However, we will if necessary be prepared as authorised to enforce peace treaties, to ensure that rebel forces do not break them. We can provide non-violent technology, and ways that can permanently disable electronic and conventional weapons, should attempts be made to use them.
Mother Earth will soon have to release some of the pressures upon her from the build up of negative energies. However, if it is likely to result in any serious threat to the people, they will be moved to safe areas for the duration of the changes. No one will suffer in these circumstances, and any losses will be made good immediately.
After peace is declared, First Contact projects to restore the environment will proceed with all haste. People of the Earth will join the Galactic Federation in operating schemes that will raise living standards very quickly. Initial emphasis will be on the Third World countries in respect of water, food and shelter. However our resources are massive and as such, no one area will be overlooked at the expense of another.
The Masters will return when it is safe to do so and peace has been established. This event might not occur until 2008, as it is by no means easy to bring the various countries together in a common peaceful agreement. Their return thereby brings an important issue into the open, regarding the truth of your creation and connection to the Source. It will be fully explained, along with the purpose of your journey through duality within the lower vibrations. They will also end once and for all, the dissension and disputes that have divided the various religious groups. Those who cannot readily accept the truth and remain attached to their old beliefs, will be honoured for their freewill choice. However, they will inevitably delay their growth and opportunity to move onto the path leading to Ascension.
[In this paragraph, Diane urges readers to do nothing, as usual, because the saviors will take care of everything. Just relax and watch it all happen for you.] We simply ask you to allow events to proceed while you concentrate on a positive outcome. Your visualisation and accompanying energy will help it manifest all the sooner. Ultimately all will work out as foreseen and intended, however remember that predictions rely on the outworking of many different factors. They are affected by people’s thoughts, actions, and energies that are pervading Earth at all times, along with those from the higher dimensions. Also in the background are actions that we take, that are calculated to bring the needed changes into fruition. Then again there are the edicts from the High Councils that oversee your evolution, interpreting the Creator’s desire to see Man at last emerge from the dark. All of these factors have a bearing on the timing of events, so perhaps you can now understand our reluctance to try and be too precise in our predictions.

At this time, there is worldwide a marked dissatisfaction with the Governments of the day. There are some exceptions, but particularly in the West they no longer enjoy the peoples [sic] trust or confidence. This is causing a collapse of the current political system without signs of new ones to take their place. This is the point where we shall have more influence upon you, as we guide you in the direction of thought that will manifest ideas that bring the new into being. [The Galactic Federation will put thoughts into your mind, if you let them and expect them? STO would suggest that you must ask for this, first.]
You look for changes knowing that the old no longer serves you, but it is not always clear as to what to put in its place. Dramatic changes must occur to allow you to completely break away from the dictates of the old regime. Concepts that are new to you will be placed in your consciousness, and they will lead to new ideas surfacing. [Sounds like mind control again.] This will set in motion a string of ideas that we can capitalise on when we are officially allowed to meet you. You will then find it easier to accept our ways of thinking, and the projects that we are to do together. [Mind control? I guess so!],
Naturally, our mass arrival will be well covered by your media, who will by then have recovered their place as bastions of free reporting. We will have much to do to quickly enlighten you as to our connection with you.
