Mirage

Last night I had a dream that I was riding in the back seat of a car. I was looking out of the back window. Far off in the distance, the image of a large city started to appear. I said " Look, it's a mirage"". The image started to grow larger and larger, until I found myself fully immersed in a new city. I was describing my surroundings to the people I was with, apparently no one else could see what I was seeing. We drove past a bank and I was able to recognize the state I was in as Tennessee. Eventually, the mirage became reality and the people I was with disappeared. I went into a panic. I found a way to get in contact with Laura. I knew she could help me navigate my way out.

Hi jen1221, this dream sounds kind of self-explanatory; it's about a world of illusion appearing, removing you from your immediate human relationships, and spurring you to find a way out (calling Laura). :)

For curiosity's sake though, did a city mirage appear out the back window, or the front window? Was your car driving towards the city? Did you recognize any of the people you were with? Do you have a history of being in cities in Tennessee, and how large were they compared to the mirage? If so what were these periods like for your life?

Hi whitecoast! I was thinking something similar about my dream. More of a reminder about keeping in alignment with the truth and not falling into the trap of illusion.

In my dream I was in the back seat, looking out the back window. The car was driving away from the city. I was with some family members. I watched a tv show that evening before I went to bed. The family in the show was from Tennessee. I assume that's how I dreamt up that city.

Yes, i also thing that this dream is about illusion. Mirage is an a illusion. You believed in your illusion so much that it became your reality but you notices one thing and that is that you were all alone in that illusion. That was your alarm signal, to ask for help from Laura, to help you to escape this illusion and get back to reality
