The Force is Strong With This One
Hello Dear Forum members,
I read in the news today. A 13 year old girl in Wisconsin, went missing from her home after both her parents were murdered. Her name is Jayme Closs. I was hoping those of us with mediumship abilities might try and intuit some information. This is just the most frightening thing in the world, and brakes my heart hearing things like this, I just wish I could help in some way. Thank you.

Missing Wisconsin girl: Jayme Closs home when parents shot to death
I read this article but it doesn't say what actually happened, I mean it's scarry and unusual, but crimes like that are usually planned. Someone must have observed this family or whoever done this knows them. I don't believe some murderer was driving in a car and then stopped and decided to enter the first house he sees and to kill everyone. There's something more to it.
I can pray that the girl will be ok.

She's a very pretty girl. Reading many of the neighbors comments, from the various news articles, her Parent's were well liked and involved in the community. Basically, no one has a clue, as to what really happened and why?

Sat October 20, 2018 - New clues from 911 call emerge in case of missing Wisconsin girl

A sheriff's department dispatch log reveals new information about the night that missing Wisconsin teenager Jayme Closs' parents were found dead -- including that a 911 call appeared to have come from her mother's cell phone, and that the door to the family's home had been kicked in.

Authorities have been searching for Jayme Closs, 13, since early Monday, when a mysterious 911 call led deputies to discover that her parents had been shot dead at the family's home in northwestern Wisconsin's Barron County.

Authorities said they don't believe Jayme Closs ran away.

Investigators say Jayme apparently vanished just after the shootings and is in danger. An Amber Alert was issued for her Monday, and the FBI has added her to its online list of kidnapped or missing people.

"We believe Jayme was in the home at the time of the homicides and we believe she's still in danger," Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said this week.

The investigation began when someone called 911 shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. No one on the line talked to the dispatcher, but the dispatcher could hear a disturbance, authorities said.

Deputies responded about four minutes later and found Jayme's parents, James Closs, 56, and Denise Closs, 46, shot dead in their home outside the small city of Barron -- and Jayme was nowhere to be found, authorities said.

A city of 3,400, Barron is about 75 miles northeast of Minneapolis.

A dispatch log that the Barron County Sheriff's Department released Friday offers a few new details from that night:

• The dispatcher "could hear a lot of yelling" during the 911 call.
• The call was "pinged" to the Closs' home. When the dispatcher called the number back, a voicemail greeting indicated that the phone belonged to Denise Closs.
• A responding officer found "the door has been kicked in."
• The family dog was there when deputies arrived, and was eventually taken to a relative's home.

The log does not indicate who made the 911 call, who was yelling or what was being yelled.
Closs' parents were shot and their deaths have been ruled homicides, Fitzgerald said Wednesday. No gun was found at the scene, he said.

Investigators believe Jayme was at home during the shooting based on details from the 911 call and evidence from the home, Fitzgerald said.

"Is it a random attack or a targeted attack? I don't know that answer," Fitzgerald told reporters. "That's why those leads are so important."

Volunteers scour the area
Volunteers and law enforcement combed the sides of US 8 -- the road where the Closs' home is located -- on Thursday, looking for evidence. But they didn't turn up anything of value, Fitzgerald said.

Hours earlier, Fitzgerald asked for 100 volunteers to participate in Thursday's search, which took place about 3 miles from the family's home, according to CNN affiliate WCCO.

The Barron County Sherriff's Department has received more than 1,000 tips for missing teenager Jayme Closs, according to a news release on the department's Facebook page. Officials are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about the Closs family and to remain vigilant in watching the behavior of others, as a change in normal behavior could lead police to additional tips, according to the release.

The sheriff said Thursday he has a "100% expectation that she's alive." He could not be reached for comment Friday.

Motive in parents' death is unclear
Deputies are also trying to determine who killed Jayme's parents, and why.

It's not clear how long James and Denise Closs had been dead when their bodies were discovered Monday.

On HLN's "Crime & Justice" Wednesday night, Fitzgerald told host Ashleigh Banfield that additional agencies, including the FBI, are involved.

"They are the experts in breaking down 911 tapes, looking at our phones and taking care of all evidence in that manner," he said.
Joan Smrekar, who lives next door to the Closs home, told Banfield she heard two shots a couple of seconds apart just after 12:30 a.m. Monday.

"It was just, 'bang' and 'bang,'" Smrekar said.

Jayme Closs is 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has green eyes and blond or strawberry blond hair, the sheriff's department said. Anyone with information can call the tip line at 1-855-744-3879.

I've noticed this morning, all the local news channels where I live in Pennsylvania are carrying an article on this missing girl and the death of her Parent's. I hope, all the tips they are getting - finally leads them to her? And pray, she's unharmed.

I just realized something. I haven't gotten a phone alert for a kidnapped child in a long time. Sadly missing people cases and murders are far too common. Technically, when I opened this I was expecting something more along the lines of a missing 411 type case. Though I gotta say it is odd about the phone alerts. I have seen stories on the news yet no phone alerts.

Everything we know about missing Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs, whose parents were brutally murdered

  • Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs has been missing since October 15, when her parents were found murdered in their family home.
  • Police announced a reward of $25,000 for information on Jayme's whereabouts.
  • Jayme's aunts pleaded to the public for information during a press conference on Wednesday.
After a week and a half of searching and over a thousand tips, authorities still haven't found missing Wisconsin teen Jayme Closs, and now her family members are speaking out.

At a press conference held Wednesday night Jayme's aunts gave an emotional plea for her safe return as police offered a $25,000 reward for information about the girl, whose parents were gunned down in their Barron home last week.

Police say they have received more than 1,550 tips about Jayme's whereabouts, but there is still no trace of the teen.

Here's what we know about her case so far:

Jayme Closs went missing in the early morning of October 15
The Barron County Sheriff's Department received a call from Jayme's mother at 12:53 a.m. on October 15.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots coming from the home 20 minutes earlier, but did not call police.

Responding deputies found the Closs family home's door kicked in, and Jayme's parents, Denise and James, were found dead from gunshot wounds.

Jayme, who police say isn't a suspect in the killings, was missing from the home, and authorities believe she could still be in danger.

The teen's parents' deaths have been ruled a homicide, though no murder weapon was found at the scene.

A funeral for Denise and James Closs has been set for Saturday, according to The Twin Cities Pioneer Press.

Authorities have received more than 1,500 tips
On Monday authorities called for 2,000 volunteers to help in a ground search for Jayme, following an initial ground search involving 100 people last week.

Authorities have also released vague descriptions of two vehicles of interest, that might have been in the area of Jayme's home the the night she disappeared, according to KSMP.
The cars are believed to be a red or orange Dodge Challenger and a black Ford Edge or Acura MDX.

At a news conference on Wednesday, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said investigators had received 1,550 tips in Jayme's disappearance and have closed out 1,250 of them.

Jayme's aunts have pleaded for information about the teen
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Jayme's aunts spoke directly to the teen.

Jennifer Smith said that she missed Jayme's giggles, and held up the teen's favorite iced coffee for the cameras.

"Jayme, not a moment goes by that we're not thinking of you and praying for you," Smith said. "We need you here to fill that hole in our hearts. We will never stop looking for you."

Smith and another aunt brought Jayme's pet dog to the news conference.
"Your dog, Molly, is waiting for you. She's sleeping in one of your sweatshirts," Smith said.

Jayme was last seen at a family party on October 14.

Man charged with burglarizing home where 2 killed, girl gone

Prosecutors have charged a man with burglarizing a Wisconsin home where a couple was killed and their 13-year-old daughter went missing, but authorities say he's not a suspect in the case.

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says 32-year-old Kyle Jaenke-Annis was arrested over the weekend at the home of James and Denise Closs. The couple was found shot dead early on Oct. 15 and their daughter, Jayme, was missing. Authorities believe Jayme was abducted, and she has been ruled out as a suspect in her parents' killings.

According to the complaint, authorities discovered Jaenke-Annis in the Closs home early Saturday, the morning of the couple's funeral. Jaenke-Annis told investigators he found the house unlocked, walked in and took some of Jayme's clothing.

Fitzgerald did not say why Jaenke-Annis was cleared of any involvement in Jayme's disappearance. He is due in court Nov. 7.

I am very happy to be able to report that missing 13yo girl Jayme Closs has been found alive, about 70 miles from the Wisconsin home where she was abducted. She was missing for 3 months, and I personally did not have a lot of hope she'd be found alive. She escaped her captor yesterday, the man who murdered her parents, and found someone to get her help and identified who she was.

What a relief it must be for the family. It's also worth noting that the man arrested and presumably to be charged with murder and kidnapping had no criminal record whatsoever. What happened could be described as an "out of character" crime, but we know that things are not so simple. I really hope this young woman is able to move past the trauma and able to start living a normal life soon.
