Molecular Hysteresis a parallel to Time Cycles?

The Living Force
So I was at work and in the midst of making some changes to the settings on our Rotary Vacuum chamber (Roto-vap). I am going down the list of settings and I come across the hysteresis setting. It peaked my interest because it was a word I had never come across before but because of the context clues of the root and prefix words, I could construct a vague definition of what it might refer to.

This prompted me to do a little research when I got back to my desk.

I read this quote on wikipedia:

Hysteresis is the dependence of a system not only on its current environment but also on its past environment. This dependence arises because the system can be in more than one internal state. To predict its future development, either its internal state or its history must be known.[1] If a given input alternately increases and decreases, the output tends to form a loop as in the figure. However, loops may also occur because of a dynamic lag between input and output. Often, this effect is also referred to as hysteresis, or rate-dependent hysteresis. This effect disappears as the input changes more slowly, so many experts[who?] do not regard it as true hysteresis.

In other words the state of a molecular structure or compound is dependent on its past states as well as its current environment. And let us not forget that changes in the molecules environment will change the course of it’s present/future. If you cycle the changes in environment (using the instrument containing the sample) you will cycle the states of said molecule. Implication being that time, which is connected to the molecules state, will cycle as well which gives rise to some form of predictability. This concept is strongly adhered to with Differential scanning calorimetry, which is a way of determining a polymer or compounds melt/glass transition/heat energy temperatures and values. Before a reading can be obtained it is customary to erase the sample’s “heat history” so that it doesn’t alter its future values. Essentially giving it a clean slate if you will.

Sooo this reminded me of the readings I have done regarding time consisting of a cycle but also that it and the future are generally open to change and/or present influences. If one applies the hermetic maxim of “as above so below” you may be able to deduce that if cycles exist on the molecular level (not to mention temperature). Then it could help in the time cycle hypothesis.

I understand they might not be connected, but i’m just throwing an idea out there. What do you guys think?

Wow....forgot to put my main point in the initial post :-[

But if the wave is a cyclic event would that not mean the our cosmic environment would change and consequently the inhabitants of the planet (cosmic molecules in a way lol) undergo changes (for better or worse depending on preparation) that are brought on by said change. This may or may not be a loose parallel
