Mount ST. Helens and the evidence that contradicts geology/dating as we know it

A couple of months ago I watched a german ducumentary in wich it was claimed that the Mount Saint Helens Explosion of 1980
coused geological layers and erosions that proof that common geology and dating is seriously wrong.

a little grand canyon with a lake formed within a very short period of time.
huge deposits of sediments formed within a very short period of time etc.

when geologists would see this without knowing that it happened in a couple of ours they would say and measure that all that was formed in several thousands or millions of years.
in fact most geologist seem to ignor what has happened on Mount ST.Helens.
that is kind of sad.

I found some information about it here, the problem is that the information I found is from creationists, but when you see through those believes then you can see that there could very well be significant evidence on Mount ST. Helens that contradicts common Geology:

listen to this one, it is from Dr.Steven Austin he is clearly a creationistic scientist but the evidence speaks for itself I think:

I had no time to read all of the links yet.

I searched for Mount ST Helens and the geological research that was done there, but found it stange that nobody seems to have looked into what happened at Mount ST. Helens exept of some creationists.

do you know if other scientists that are not that committed to believing had looked into that ?

Interesting Pashalis.

I once lived in an area that had high buttes and deep canyons and always thought of 'Noah's' flood as being the possible cause('40 days, 40 nights'). Or any one of the multitudes of violent earth changes/impacts that have occurred in the last 50k years.

And yes, the geologists love saying how those buttes/canyons took millions of years to form.
