Mt. Rainer Venting?

Don't know about this one.
The couple of frames where you can actually see Mt. Rainer certainly looks like the dark cloud is coiming from the side of the mountain, because of the shape, namely that it is narrow closest to the mountain, and it spreads out as its distance increases from the mountain. For you smokers out there it like when you blow out smoke from your lungs. The area closest to your mouth has a more densly packed stream of smoke, and as the distance increases, it spreads out.
But more evidence is needed, although i highly doubt that USGS and the media will be the ones to tell us about it. It will most likely be people like the ones who shot the video, taking it upon themselves to observe, tell people about what they have seen, and most importantly, record better quality videos and images.
