Multidimensional music

I have a disc, among a collection of 12, by Jacotte CHOLET, who composes "Multidimensional music". The one I have is "Invisible presence"
It is particular, I like it. The principle of that music is fully described here:

It's not music in the common sense of the word,
it does not follow convention, fad or tradition.

It's a vibration, free and alive
which obeys the soul's urge and the body's tempo.

Created out of a "unique inner experience",
it is never rearranged, rectified or corrected "afterwards".

It is composed of higher consciousness, coherent energy & sound.
It connects with soul, body, mind and spirit...

It contains specific sound frequencies,
but it's not only sound, energy and music,
it is RESONANCE within.

It's a tool to reconnect with our real SELF,
a key to open what was closed.
It's a new software, very soft and quite aware,
it's a bridge to the source,
it's a sonic vector to the multiples dimensions we are made of.

I listened to 3 of the samples and quite liked them, but I don't hear anything revolutionary new in them. Isn't the objectives described on the webpages the same objectives that all good honest music composers have? To make you relax, mentally associate as the music grabs you? The big words don't make the music different or better. Good relaxation music but hardly worth the big language, in my opinion. :)

Heaalih, please dont take this personally, but I found Jacotte's claims highly suspicious. I'm not saying that it isn't possible that the composer of that music has good intentions, but reading the 'principles' (which IMO don't explain much of anything) is the biggest collection of New Age 'mumbo jumbo' I've read in a while. :)

Me thinks he should back up his big words with some research and evidence, before I would buy his CD.

I'd have to agree with hithere and Aragorn. The music in itself sounds very pleasing but yes indeed, very new-agey in description.

And lately have been getting more than a little suspicious of "meditative'' and ''trance'' music actually. :/

OK Aragorn, I don't take it personally ;). I was just wondering that this could be interesting. Because they seem to study the effects, not only create the music.

As I don't well understand the explanations given, I hope someone could light it up.

I have known this music with the reading of her husband's books (by Régis Dutheil), which are well constructed IMO. He seems a sincere researcher, even if it is a bit in the fringe of science.
