My Dinner with Andre

I just watched this movie yesterday and I have to say it's worth the watch. The whole movie is only dialogue, so it might not be up everyone's alley, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Knowing nothing at all about the movie while sitting down to watch it, I have to say the beginning had me feeling a bit like "huh? What's all this leading up to?". Around the halfway mark though, the conversation of the film takes on a distinctly 'serious' tone and I think having the background we have on this forum, you will be able to tie many of the ideas discussed into specific ideas shared and discussed on this forum; some of Gurdjieff's ideas (external consideration, last hour of life etc.), organic portals, 'being vs. non-being' just to name a few concepts that came to the forefront of my mind as I was watching.

It's written incredibly well and it certainly provoked very interesting thoughts in me at least. It baffles me how much truth manages to be put into movies without people realizing.

Just found an interresting extract of this movie with french sub-titles.
As the initial link given by Yupo is not anymore valid, let's refresh it :)

What i like is around the end, when he mentions that some communities (he used the name pockets of light, reserves, or "islands of safety") which will preserve the life, this was discussed with the C's in a +/- recent session. What is interresting about this passage is that he goes further and explains how people will proceed. It starts at 3m38s. What tickled me is when he mentions invisible planets on this planet and the possibility to move to these invisible planets in order to refuel and come back.
When we consider that the one who wrote the script had a great insight, i can't help to consider this passage and wonder if this could be a way to describe what could be, in practice, what we would live in the future years. I can't help thinking about what the C's described, or acknowledged, that the earth will literally split in 2, one remaining in 3D and the other one going in 4D. Here in the movie, the 4D is what he names "the invisible planet(s)"
