My dream of losing a tooth

In this recent dream that I had, I stepped onto a bus and headed over to take a seat. Within a few moments into the bus ride, one of my molar teeth began to get extremely loose and fell out onto the bus floor. The tooth slid down to the front of the bus and for whatever reason it disgusted some people. When I got up to go retrieve my tooth, I couldn't find it but then realized it was in the possession of the bus driver. We exchanged a few sentences and that deemed I could have the tooth back, before giving me my tooth back he told me that I was on the right path with my journey and a sense of understanding filled the bus

Perhaps it was your subconscious mind is trying to affirm to you that you really are on the correct path. I think this would be the most straightforward interpretation of what the dream was telling you.
