My first tune - So far, so good

I really enjoy this tune. Thanks for sharing. It reminds me of Dave, a good friend of mine, he also produces music like this and I guess you will like his works very much (we two also did often collaborations and produced together tunes):

And something I would like to say to you, because you said you never shared your music and we should please be gentle. I know why you told us this and its okay, but you don´t need to feel bad or angry or broken when someone doesn´t likes what you produced. Nobody can compose or create something - that everyone will like - or even LOVE. Its totally normal that we all have a different taste. But what I would like to give you for your way is that you should not care about what people will feel, say or think when they listen to your music. You do it for yourself. And as long YOU enjoy what you are doing, its really okay, but look to all these people who just produce music to impress others, now isn´t THIS sad somehow? Why some people need this? Well, they need intense appreciation, so they feel right again in their inner self. Making music is for this kind of people just a tool like a crutch, so they can go on with their live and "move" somehow, but these people who are like this, will not get any far in their life. Its a bit sad to know that many peope are like this, because they confuse the issue of being creative with "a wrong kind of try" to heal their mental debilitys. I don´t say that you are like that, but I wish that all these people who are like that learn and get somehow away from their wrong point of view.

Your music souns very nice, warmhearted, relaxed and friendly.

Thank you for your upload.

:-)

:umm: Well, I'm afraid you misinterpreted my intentions. It was just joking ;D

I sent this out, because I'm just curious how others see my work. IMHO, no one should be deaf to others opinion. I like the process of creation, whether it's programming, writing, music or whatever else. I can't imagine how to succeed in all those without criticism or feedback from others.

Anyway, I don't have ambition to become famous musician, so any flak regarding my tune won't hart me or ruin my life ;D

I just checked your link out, and that is a very nice video too! Calming, and in places evocative. More than a hint of ambient in the music too, I enjoyed it. It had a certain oriental quality about it, I don't particularly know why, just the "vibe" I guess, or possibly some of the lead instrumentation.

I recently bought a synth for a new hobby to take up (I have no musical abilities per se), so I truly appreciate the quality that a genuine composer and musician can come up with.

Keep them coming, you've clearly got talent! :)

i think the tune is really good. in fact it's far better than most of chillout music being produced nowadays (IMHO). i very much like the ambience of it - hard to define or describe yet very distinctive. also the quality of production is nearly perfect. if i were to pick on something, it would be the rhythm "section" - for me it sounds a bit too flat against the rest (especially the snare drum). but this is just a detail.

i'm waiting for your next tunes :-). with this level i think you have a chance of getting some regular audience.

very promising, mARTinSky!

i'd certainly listen to an album full of this music! ;)

(i have also recently completed my first attempt at programming music, i'll be putting the track up in a couple of weeks :D )

I have to say that your tune is not the kind of thing I really listen to, except maybe for pure relaxation or something like that.

That said, I really like it a lot! I missed most of the video because I just closed my eyes and let the music wash over me. I particularly like a point in the middle where it gets more melodic with a longer chord progression.

Very nice!

That was a pleasant piece of ambient music. Good work! Although I noticed a few places in England on the video, where did you take the picture of the egg? I'm definitely into the surrealistic.
