A mysterious violet light was spotted in the sky over Wales last night, it's been revealed.
Residents in parts of Swansea and Carmarthenshire witnessed the strange "blob" in the evening on Tuesday (January 21), as reported by
WalesOnline.
The unidentified light was spotted by baffled resident from 6pm onwards and has been
described as "floating" in the sky, sparking speculation that it might have been a UFO.
One resident from Llanelli, who wished to remain anonymous, saw the "blue or purple light" and said "it looked like it was coming from the M4, it moved to the right then went off."
Whilst another witnesses provided further commentary on the currently unidentified incident in Wales.
Andrea Harries said: "I came out into the garden with the dog and saw a blue, purplish light.
"It was bright but dimming every now and then. It moved over to Pontlliw and then towards Llanelli and then it just went."

Ms Harries described it as being "fair size" and said that
there were no planes or noise at the time either, with the resident confused over what exactly she saw in the sky.
