Mysterious "something" above the Black sea

Today saw an article in Russian, where a person shared pictures from his holiday four years ago in Black Sea region, near Divnomorsk, Russia, which is also near Putin's residency there.

He said that he was going over pictures and saw this first image. It was a standard beach image and he was about to delete it, when notice that the image before it (and that was taken only several seconds before) had a strange "something" that looked like a rocket shooting up the sky. And he doesn't remember any noise or a flash of light, or anything strange at that moment.

He swears that it isn't a fake, and also says that it doesn't look like any "optical illusion" he knows. He also saw those images four years ago, but just didn't publish them anywhere. Since he couldn't find any logical explanation, he started to think about all kind of "out of worldly" explanations, including UFOs, since there are persistence rumors that there is an underground base at the bottom of Black Sea.

You can see by the pictures that after he took the second picture (in this post it is the first picture), he walked a bit toward the beach. There are a lot of comments with various theories, ranging from mundane to very conspiratorial. What do you think?

Prolly one of those ubiquitous fireball/meteorites igniting/exploding in the atmosphere.

Yeah, I also thought about it. But the tail gives an impression that this something goes up and not down. Unless, of course, it is one of those weird fireballs that defies "accepted behavior". ;) Or maybe it is just an impression.

Well, it looks like the black smoke is BEHIND it. And there is an interesting electrical phenomenon observed on many such critters where it seems to have an arrow like projection in front. Comets in space do that too.

Notice also the two people outlined at the bottom of the photo.

I tried looking for meteorites that look similar, and there are some that look this way when they are falling. Their tail on those pictures, though, is also illuminated. But I guess that's the most probable explanation. Ok, solved! Better add a comment and educate some people there. ;)

Well, is you look at enough pictures (of what is available) under many kinds of atmospheric and viewing conditions, you see that there are all sorts of variations. For example, the one above may have been just smoking and then flashed briefly and that was it. And the sky appears to have been pretty hazy anyway.

Look at this one. It comes and goes pretty fast which could have been what happened in the photo above.

Yeah, the author claims that neither he or anyone else on the beach have noticed that, but maybe he blinked at that time. :D

Pity you can't understand the comments. Some of them are really elaborate. It reminds me of theories Russians created after the fall of Chelyabinsk meteorite. They came up with craziest ideas, like testing of a secret weapon, Russian military shutting down a UFO, or a UFO shutting down a meteorite, etc. They created entire theories, including maps of trajectories. Simple meteorite fall is to simple for Russians.

Here's an image as an example of what they post on the thread. That the object looks like missile launch, but without the smoke and noise that follows it.

Look at the image here. It looks like a missile launch to me

Hello gambeir, the image Keit posted is a missile launch.
The images posted earlier in the thread are of a bolide, in my opinion.

What is mystifying me, is where did that couple go, that were walking on the beach?
The two frames were taken in the same minute according to the time reference.

Thanks for bringing my attention to both issues. I see now you said as much.

Good question, and if there is neither smoke nor noise then what? Must we then conclude the Russians have managed to create a new type launcher which solves those issues, because they are issues which obviously give away a submarines location.

Only logical solution right?
