One set of American "contractors" in our multiple wars, formerly known as Blackwater, recently changed their name to Academi from Xe, a recent "rebranding" of their bloodsoaked reputation. Apparently the Xe stood for the symbol that was on the Roman legion's shields during the time of Christianized Emperor Constantine. The founder of Blackwater, Eric Prince is known as a notorious Millennialist Christian.
"The new name", he says, " represents an institution of trained warriors and thinkers." Right. While simultaneously continuing the US Government protected policy of rape, looting, organized crime, violations of international law and human rights. Acting as "deniable" assets for the CIA, NSA and others as the corporations and bankers loot conquered countries.
What they're really seeking to renew is their mercenary contract with Washington D.C. without the bad rep.
