Hello everybody!

Here is link from NASA agency, in which they prepare their employee stuff for some "emergency situation". Why they preparing they stuff? Does they know something and hidding it from us?

I suppose that they give first tiny information about "problems", which can appear when comet Elenin come near Earth.

Please, can we start some discussion about NASA information.

Just to offer another perspective, it might be related to the fact that all government and large corporations should, by now, have protocols in place for emergencies and business continuity.

In my department, we're about ten years behind industry in our emergency preparedness. But we now have procedures in place for things like earthquakes, fires, pandemics, etc.

Each department has to go through a process of deciding which activities are essential and how they will retain those services throughout various emergencies.

For example, during a pandemic, it might be more dangerous to travel to work on a bus than to stay at home.

Therefore, essential staff have the ability to work from home and connect to the office network remotely.
