Nasa film that can see the invisible

Thanks for the video, Kisito, but why did you post it here in the Psychology section? It seems to be about magnetic field lines of the sun -- audio from scientists accompanied by artistic 3D CGI renderings. I'll move this thread into an appropriate location.

By the way: The usual assumption (by one of the scientists in the video) that "photons originating in the sun's core need millions of years to get from the core to the surface" may not be true and necessary in the Liquid Metallic Hydrogen model of the sun. Basically: With a gaseous model of the sun, scientists had to invent the 'radiation pressure' and 'fusion' theory to explain why the sun is not collapsing in itself. But when the sun is thought of Hydrogen compressed into a highly conductive liquid metal state, such mechanisms are not necessary.

See http://www.ptep-online.com/index_files/2011/PP-26-07.PDF and other convincing, evidence-based studies by Pierre-Marie Robitaille. Here is his video

For nearly 150 years despite the lack of observational evidence, the Sun has been considered to be a ball of gaseous material. Such a postulate rests on mathematical arguments. Nonetheless, observations, not mathematics, properly determine the phases of matter. In this light, a systematic review of 40 solar findings provides ample proof that the Sun is comprised of condensed matter In this presentation, the phase of the Sun will be discussed by contrasting the gas-based Standard Solar Model (SSM) with the Liquid Metallic Hydrogen Solar Model (LMHSM). Unlike the SSM, the LMHSM does not permit the Sun to radiate internally. This is the third of three talks the Dr. Robitaille presented at EU2014.

Hi Data, I didn't pay attention to the topic when I posted. I do confinace you to spend it in a more appropriate thread. Thank you for the information posted above, while for video it is more difficult for me to understand the subject in a language that is not mine. :/
