The Living Force
Just finished the novel I was working on for quite some time.

When Jac McKay – a 22nd century Astro Police Captain – unexpectedly opens his Third Eye and starts remembering his past lives on Earth, he becomes the target of an unknown power.

As Jac and his friends travel across the Solar System and “beyond”, they have to use all their wits just to stay alive. Without really meaning to, they begin to uncover age-old mysteries – and cannot help but wonder:

How deep does this rabbit hole really go?

A lot of it was inspired by the Cassiopaean material. There are different densities, 4D STO and STS, widespread testing for psychopaths when entering certain types of work (public office, police, military), etc.

I just finished reading this one. It's a good SF story, plenty full of action 'with a twist' I would say and I especially liked the constant tension between the hard boiled, matter-of-fact and up-tempo manner of telling it and the rather unusual esoteric snippets of content strewn throughout. At first these seem pretty much accidental for the uninitiated reader (I suppose) since they do not dominate the exposition too much, and further on they become a natural part of the landscape so to speak. As a reader one can accept them readily, at least I did so comfortably.

All in all I've rather enjoyed reading this, to the point that I felt regret when I had finished it -- actually too soon, I thought. It took me about three long evenings of intermittent reading (doing other things in between) to complete it and I was fascinated and engrossed all the way. The short chapters provide ample cut-off points and are easy to return to without losing the plot.

As for the general public, I wouldn't call it a must read per se but it provides enough entertainment to safely recommend it for avid SF-fans. Forum members who know a thing or two about esoterica will certainly enjoy those bits much more and envy the writer for his skill in weaving those into his tapestry unobtrusively. At least, that's what happened to me. ;)

So, thanks for writing this and letting us know about it. :cool2:

One minor point of criticism: the editing missed quite a few spelling errors and similar things (grammar, missing words, double words). At first these are few and far between but from about chapter 12 onward it accelerates, and as I cannot help myself noticing these every time I encounter one it became a bit annoying here and there. But that's just me of course.
