Jeebus! That was pathetic. Where has this guy been? The US government has spent half a trillion dollars and counting in protecting the American people by way of killing about a million Iraqi civilians. Actually, that works out at half a million dollars per Iraqi civilian! I knew those claims of the US paying $2000 per dead Iraqi were false!

Interesting that the congressman seemed to be speaking the truth - or, at least, the truth kind of came out sideways, whether the congressman knew what he was saying or not.

E.g. "I didn't come here to be a congressman..." This is true, and probably true for most congressmen, in that they're not there to represent their fellow-citizens, but rather to make money.

"When are we gonna stand up [to the terrorists], and take 'em on?" This is also a true statement - neither the Afghanistan nor the Iraq Wars have had any connection with the "war on terror(ism)". In fact, the war on terror is a complete fabrication, and this congressman seems to have admitted it - albeit inadvertently.
