Hi LIV, sounds like you are going through the wringer, I'm sorry you are going through this. May I ask about your son's diet? You may find that a change to the ketogenic diet could have some positive effects, especially if you are getting nowhere with your doctor. I would try going to a different doctor as well.
Practicing EE on a regular basis can also have positive benefits. It may really help with your stress levels.
All these cars breaking down, your vehicle isn't running the way it should. Could it be symbolic of your own personal vehicle; your body and changes in diet and health that you may need for it to function effectively?
Hang in there.

i struggle tremendously with my diet lainey :(
im always on the move at work and when i get home im so worn out from arguing i come home and just flop on the bed and go to sleep .. i need items i can eat while being mobile .. as i am not always by a fridge i trust to leave my food in or a microwave sanitary to my liking to use .. i only get a 20 min break to try and eat ... sometimes i cut up cucumbers strawberries carrots and seal them in a baggy to munch on.. or crackers with a few bottles of water.. when i get home i usually grab something from the restaurant down the street.. she always put me a plate of jerk chicken or curry goat with cabbage to the side if i call her early enough..
when i cook .. i never make starches ..just a meat and vegetable .. and i rarely eat fried food meats.. usually baked chicken salmon or talipia .. (people always tease me because my diet is so predictable lol) i love sushi so i eat that A LOT

but when im super busy.. i subcome to the fast food :( im weak for chiptole and grape leaves :(

but what you are saying definitely resonates with me.. its just trying to find the motivation and energy to research it and do it .. sometimes change is the hardest thing to do ..

If you go to Chipotle, LIV, you can get a burrito bowl with steak, lettuce, and guacamole and nothing else. That's pretty keto.

Indeed it is however there are ways to make it easier for yourself, why not try changing just 1 thing about your diet next week? Only one thing and see how it goes. Or make the time to read just one article? My favourite one about the ketogenic diet is:
