After further research I found the word "Injections" to be a bad thing. The Injections that my friends (Firefighters, I used to be a Volunteer) are currently hearing about from other Soldier/Police members are not pretty.

Definite sign of the times, I think. There is certainly something afoot in the New Madrid region. My workplace got an email asking if personnel would be willing to help out in the case of an earthquake that resulted in major flooding. It asked that we include our profession and what would need to be done in order to get approval for time off work. The email made it plain that it was only a "drill" but in this world drills have a way of turning into the real thing quite quickly.

Could you give a description of "injections" incidents which are not pretty?

Sure, one of the injections was a prison break drill (we have a fed med center here). Another was emergency response for civil disorder. The drills went on for more than a week.

Thank you so much! So, if you're a regular person, minding your own business, not looting, rioting, etc., there would be no reason for civil authorities to mess with you as oppsed to being in a "disaster area" and being herded somewhere you don't want to go?
