LOL!

Yeah, there were a few other dire predictions flying around on the forum in the last couple of months. People need to understand the complexity and scale of such things. Yeah, we are likely to get another Tunguska or Chelyabinsk type thing sooner or later, but It is VERY difficult to predict.
Hoogerbeets is to their "knowledge" came to using a computer program called Solar System Scope. "Discovered" that the earthquake of 9.8 degrees on the Richter scale quake California at a time when at least five planets placed in the plane of the Earth. when it comes to the so-called. planetary alignment. This will, according to him, affect the alignment of the Earth and the Moon which will lead to changes in gravity, which can eventually lead to natural disasters such as earthquakes.
Quote Hoogerbeets:
"Be careful and keep an escape plan" - said Hoogerbeets residents of California who, in his prophecy, should be destroyed on Friday at 1 in the morning European time.
Let's wait and we'll see

Well, we are on the 29th and nothing happened everything is normal here in California we're not gone yet

I think it is because of the known built up stress and past history of devastating quakes in California. Combine that with the economic and agricultural importance of California and there you go.

Agriculturally, the contribution of California to feeding the populace of the US is huge. Found that out when I found berries grown near me for sale in Kentucky.
The immenseness of farming in the Central Valley area of California is truly something to behold. You only get a sense when you drive through it for hours and hours.

Thinking there is an unhealthy fascination with California could be a program too ;-)

California must be a stressful place to live with the drought and the potential threat of earthquakes. Fwiw I feel to much time is spent focusing on doomsday events and there are many more important things to consider. If I fall into my disaster program complex tends to lead me into all sorts of wishful thinking scenario's.

Although it is interesting subject I find that these dire predictions often lead to all sorts of rubbish been talked. Crikey we've had enough massive natural disasters around many parts of the world in this century to know we're in the mire.

Meanwhile, in Japan:

Strong 7.8 quake strikes off Japan’s Bonin Islands

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck in the ocean off Japan's Bonin Islands at 11:23 GMT on Saturday, USGS reports.

The populated area closest to the quake's epicenter is the Japanese island of Chichi-Shima with a population of about 2,000 people. It is 189 kilometers from the impact point.

The quake hit at a profound depth of almost 677 kilometers below the ocean bed. The Japan Meteorological Agency said there was no danger of a tsunami. The US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a statement saying "a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no threat to Hawaii."

Tremors are being felt as far as Tokyo, 870 kilometers from the epicenter, witnesses report. No casualties or damage were reported, but subway trains in the Japanese capitalwere briefly halted, Japan Today reports.

A couple in California today too, and a few volcanoes have gone off in the past few days.

Also, an oil pipeline has broken near Santa Barbara on May 20th: http://www.sott.net/article/296683-Broken-pipeline-near-Santa-Barbara-California-leaks-21000-gallons-of-oil-in-ocean-and-on-beaches. Who knows, maybe it was caused by some ocean seismic activity too. Hopefully that's it and all the tension was released with it, if there was any.

Well, I am in the wonderful land called Los Angeles where people seem not to care of what might happen in the future. Most people live life from day to day, they do not even care about the serious drought situation the state is facing. people are not used to having to deal with inconveniences. They take so many things for granted and yet they post things on social media how grateful they are for having so much in their lives, how blessed they are for having to live in 'paradise' ~ selfies on the beach with palm trees in the middle of January. Delusional! This is a desert and yet we think it's an oasis except for the fact we import water. It is like being jobless meanwhile you keep spending your money thinking you might get a job soon enough before you run out of it. We are so spoiled, no, we are beyond spoiled folks, so we think the center of the world is here, no wonder we hit the news like crybabies we are. No bad things can happen to paradise, but when they do, all hell breaks loose so the world needs to know about it.

We don't have much water to waste but people still water their lawns, wash cars, etc, we keep wasting it like there is no tomorrow. The good news is, the meteorologists are predicting that rain is coming this winter due to the emergence of El Nino, the ocean temps are rising in the south-east Pacific. Great news but they also warn there is no guarantee that we'll be having more rain at all. So.

Talking about LA, if the big one hits, and it don't have to be a great one to disrupt the freeway system and the aqueducts. This would spell a disaster like conditions when you can't escape by automobile nor would can you fly out, and water will be nowhere to find. it's a huge megalopolis, the logistics of getting supplies to the population is an enormous challenge, and then we'll have the law and order issues.
I think the bigger threat is the water situation. It is depressing to see the disappearing reservoirs. Some other parts of the world are under water with so much rain like never seen before, and we have here, dry weather like never seen before. It feels like the water just moved from one place to another, this is extreme.

And seriously, the moon has more gravitational pull on earth than with any other planetary or galactic alignment up there is. Anybody can claim whatever planetary relationships is occurring causing earth disruptions in tune with the proposed delusional theory designed to inflict fear and drama in people's minds. how easy it is to spread misinformation around the world to make believe a disaster is going to happen
but the real one is already here and knocking on our doors.

Well, I'm sure that is a matter of opinion, But I live 30/35 miles east of you and Urban Sprawl hardly allows one to see the end of this city and the beginning of the Next.
Yeah, The many things I noticed when I got back is 1) Everybody is so gosh Darn Fat/Sheesh 2) There seems to be a Superficial Politeness where an apology comes at the instant, but there really wasn't a need for it; A smile would be just fine, but they really don't smile much. 3) A sense of Quiet Desperation as if Everybody is SO STRESSED OUT that that perhaps they are running on AUTO-PILOT: That is, they have to mentally shift gears and most don't even know how to work the Clutch. 4) My God; the SCAM Artists, it's like every third PERSON has some kind Pie In The Sky "Get Rich Scheme" or a way to Overtly or Covertly get monies from those that they think GOT IT. 5) The Value added jobs are JUST NOT THERE! Everything has turned into a Service Sector Economy with so little money chasing even less; And with your job that you hate you get; low pay, no job security, no health benefits, Unreasonable customers and God Forbid, Homeless People. In L.A. County at least 40,000 plus. Oh, Oh, oh and don't forget that most people do not have enough money to pay the rent/mortgage and I wonder where all those Homeless People came from?

Oh, Did I forget to suggest that in all truth everybody is under "Mind Control." If they aren't, then our society is ready to write the Epitaph; "They dared to Go to the Moon, but left all the problems behind and their God called Money could not help the rich or the poor."

===== the logistics of getting supplies to the population is an enormous challenge, and then we'll have the law and order issues.
Seems to me that a Light Breeze is all it's gonna take to scatter this house of cards. Jade Helm/Homeland Security --- We need you now ---- Isn't that always how it works?

=====And seriously, the moon has more gravitational pull on earth than with any other planetary or galactic alignment
You can watch the Planets; I'll be watching the Aliens Land; "Meet the new Boss--not the same as the old Boss. Whadda Ya Think? Commin' to your Neighborhood?
=====a disaster is going to happen
but the real one is already here and knocking on our doors.

Brother: You got that Right. Of course I might offer these New Arrivals (Aliens)a Glass of Cold Water to drink; If I had any myself.  :scared:

Wyatt, posts are hard to follow when the quote function is not utilized when replying. Besides being externally considerate to other readers in doing so, it makes for a cleaner discussion.

There are two ways of replying to a post by quoting it. The first option is to click on the Quote button on the top right-hand side of the relevant post. The second option is to select the Reply button which will take you to the Post reply screen. On this page you can quote a post from the Topic Summary located below the message editor. Simply click on Insert Quote next to the relevant post.

Both of the above options add a link to the original post showing the name of the poster and the date and time of the post. This information is added by attributes in the opening quote tag (author=, link=topic=, date=).

Gravitational pull is much less important than solar system electrical flow, so an opposition between the sun and Saturn would conduct much more electrical flow than the relationship of the Moon to the earth. Which is not to say that the Sun-Earth-Moon relationship doesn't have a serious electrical component which far outweighs gravity (no pun intended) in terms of effects on the Earth.

Responding to myself.

Respecting the above comment, see the fact that, all of a sudde, auroras on Mars are visible to the naked eye. That's definitely NOT an effect of gravity:
