I was listening NJ101.5 FM today regarding the weather in NJ . 20 - 25 ( 29 inches some places) of snow and 50 - 60 mph winds . Nothing surprise as it is expected in advance, though it is worst in 14 yrs. 100's motorists stuck on the high ways for 6 to 13 hours, governor Left to disneyland on sunday, Lt. Governor is no where to be traced, and senate leader to be the acting Governor. No Money for Cleanup, No national guard to help out. Lt. Governor. didn't even contacted the Governer. except his office, despite the state of emergency. Official word is "Some body will get to you, when will they will". sounds like a 3rd world country.

What is most concerting is the people who call and complain.

- Some people call and complain of the 'people who are stuck' saying they should not be on the streets and it is their fault.

- One guy from staten island ( adjacent Burrough from new york ) complaining that he was stuck on garden state park for 13 hrs and no body even came to talk and people are leaving the cars and other stuck like ANIMALS. The guy from radio retorts back saying that "you are from another state and a interloper and we are capable of criticising our selves". Sounds like a state citizen politics, but it says how insensitive people can become even during the worst circumstances.

The only bright part of it , DOT employees are using their own resources to help people out. Roads are really not that bad , it is only pretty inconsistent conditions due to the winds. NJ has seen much worser than this. But some thing is cooking here. It looks like conditioning the people for some thing worse.

Yes, there s a different feeling about this storm. Something I can't quite put my finger on yet. An interesting taste of things to come. I think what makes this storm different is what's not being said. That NY is not invincible against weather. Usually the feeling I get here is that NY'kers are tough and can withstand anything yet what I feel is a certain - uncertainty. Usually people just muddle through these things but you can even see it on television that they may be overwhelmed even if they don't realize it yet. Everyone's putting up a front.

The US IS very close now to a 3rd world country. Won't be long now, or so I think.

Seems the programming is fairly near complete. :(

There will always be those who listen to their conscience. :)

Yeah, the programming continues as the PTB get more and more nervous. I can't help but think that some of them do know what is coming. And they are being driven to get as many people as possible into a really nasty, STS state. Just my opinion, of course. And, as long as some of the people stick up for the psychopathic government, others who are weak will follow them. Keep them fighting amongst themselves, and they will be to busy and downtrodden to fight the PTB.

While looking for info about the current blizzard came across this

Blizzard of 77 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-gRb_MuUgg

It's a slideshow with photos and bits from news and radio reports from the New York and Michigan area during the 1977 blizzard.

Just thougt while watching this is how it comes out from this short video how back then people were helping each other out compared to today when it's everyone fending for themselves,
how back then there was a sense of being in it together.

Yup. While stuck at an aiport snowed in I had a talk in the rebooiing line with an American guy and tried to convey the dire state of the US. Not sure if I got through but
I think majority of Americans are starting to realize this more and more. Not just the poor.
