What is it to know others? Other human beings. And why is it a process?

Feelings.
Feelings are always at the bottom of it.

Now, what about relationships with psychopaths? Do they give life meaning to non-psychopaths? Is aligning with the agenda of a psychopath, trusting her (or him) with feelings, so valuable? In what sense? Can you explain it?
