I think kids shouldn't learn how to shoot, I didn't even knew what was an Uzi! :O

I think it depends on how old they are, why they're being taught, where they live, and who is doing the teaching. For example if a family lives out in the wilderness then knowing how to shoot a weapon might be a good idea, maybe, or maybe not. That decision requires a bunch of specific context.

In any case, teaching a 9 year old to shoot an automatic weapon is insane.

The specific context, yes, I had them too while I watching the video. Although, I do not like it much. I have conflicting opinions.

If, for some reason, a child needs to be taught to handle guns and shoot, they should be started with something like a BB gun, then a 22 and maybe after a couple years, move on to a 410 shotgun. As you said, a child has NO business with an automatic weapon. Period.

I agree, a child has NO business with an automatic weapon. Period.
A Nine-Year-Old cannot control himself/herself good enough to really control an automatic weapon and a lot of other weapons IMO. I hope the girl gets professional help to process this trauma.
