Just recently received the information bellow about Nobel Prize in Physics 2021
At first, seeing that award was given "for groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of complex systems", I thought "OK, complex systems... what's that really about?" and then read the whole announcement and saw that 1/2 of the prize was awarded to "reliably predicting global warming".
I'm feeling ashamed to be considered part/member of this community (scientific, physics), even if only via my workplace (job).
Edit: Clarity
