NSA Exit

Interesting story on Sott this morning about a group to encourage conscientious defection.
I watched the video. Sounds good, but I can't help but wonder if it is being used as trap to get people with a conscience there to self-identify. Anyone else getting this vibe?

Yupo, can you post a link to the article? I don't see it on the front page of SOTT. Thanks :)

That is very odd... I thought it was on Sott, because mainly this is where I catch morning news.
Fuund it on the web. See what you think.

Is this the SOTT article you were referring to?

Yes.
Can you imagine the potential paranoia level of these agents, knowing what they must know?

Hmm, I didn't think that it would be a trap, and thought it was just people with conscience in those positions trying to help others. But good point, that would seem like a snaky thing to do. And how many people end up in those fields by "mistake" really? I suppose if they are really deluded into believing that they are helping people and fighting terrorism. But you'd think those positions would have a ponerizing effect on people quickly, and they wouldn't last long at the job.

Hi Yupo. What do you mean by "self-identify"? Do you mean that normal people project what they would do onto the agents, who probably lack a conscience anyway? If so, I think you are right, but what exactly do you see as the trap?

The program looks great, looks authentic, but almost too good to be true (to me).
I mean it would not surprise me to learn that the whole thing is either set up by NSA to invite defectors in to best identify the workers at most risk for this.
And if this isn't the case, I would bet it is so closely monitored that the effect is the same.

One effect of reading on Sott is that I almost never take news at face value, even on Sott.

Ah, that makes sense. Well, according to the Cs, the whole Jade Helm thing was a psyops that at least in part had the purpose of luring out potential revolutionary types, so what you say is not impossible.
