Jedi Master
I had a very interesting dream yesterday that I would like to share with everyone.
Last night, after the taps in my house started spouting brown, muddy water (I wondered if it had anything to do with my system not flowing properly and being “muddy”… but that’s a “hole” different concern) , I went onto SOTT – something I haven’t done for a while, since I had to get a new connection in my house.
After the usual feelings of panic, impending doom and utter helplessness while reading SOTT, I went to sleep after a long moment of reflection in bed.
I’ve forgotten a lot from the dream, but I’ll try my best to recall it as it happened.
It was set in England. At first, I remember skateboarding (I don’t have a clue how to skate) in a dingy complex of underground train tunnels. I saw a ramp that was perfect for jumping off, so I aimed for it and flew up into the air, but I mistimed the jump and lost balance, but was able to regain my bearings in mid air so as to land on my feet without harm.
I then saw a train rushing towards me in the distance, so I dodged out of its way. I then realized that there wasn’t a safe spot to stand, since the tracks were very close together, meaning that avoiding one train by getting onto a different track would only risk being hit by another train traveling from the unknown darkness.
Feeling unsafe, I wanted to find an exit, but all exits were closed apart from number 26 (I can vaguely recall that the reason why all exits were closed was because of a factor that was experienced earlier on in the dream... but I can't remember that segment), so I rushed up some stairs.
As I ran up the stairs and I reached sunlight, I landed in the middle of a chaotic panic of people running away from bombs and gunfire. I saw people getting killed just behind me.
I felt a firm resolve to stay calm and focused in this warzone, as I thought this would be the most productive and helpful state of mind to be in.
I then remember a close up view of a man’s blue eyes that seemed to reflect the expression of my resolve. There was a pair of CDs floating next to his face at eye level, glimmering... coldly, almost.
Then the view panned out to show a bank full of disgruntled people, all with CDs suspending in mid air at their eye levels. The people were emptying (their) cash registers and shouting about their apparent plight. I got the sense that the people were losing all their money and angry about the military assault.
The people were following the suggestions of the receptionists at the bank, who were smiling awkwardly, as if they understood the mess they were causing/in, but were unable to do anything about it (I recall the receptionists NOT having CDs floating next to them).
Behind the register, there was an unaffected, indifferent looking “Nazi” general in a brown military coat and a hat, I think he was the person in charge there… He was flicking through forms and papers, waving his hand in dismissal, no empathy for the people at all.
At the same time, the man “with my resolve reflected in his eyes” was dressed in a bright white cowboy outfit, with a hat and all. He had light, curly and long ginger hair, tied up in a pony tail under his hat, and thick stubble on his face.
He had the look of someone with a serious resolve to action that I only wish I could muster in reality, and he was packing a white bag (full of money). I perceived that he somehow cleverly swindled the bank into giving him all the money he needed to fulfil his "mission".
The man walked out of the bank and my focus switched elsewhere.
There was a Chinese girl in a brown “Nazi” uniform; she had big black boots, and a red armband on her left arm, like the Nazis. I wanted to get a look at the symbol, but people kept blocking my view.
She didn’t seem to be an “evil” person like the general… I thought she was a bit like a member of the Hitler youth program – naïve children that were obeying what they were told and didn’t know any better – She was justifying the actions of the military to a small group of concerned citizens (I didn’t catch what she said, but I heard a woman in the group telling her that she has been grossly misinformed about the facts).
That’s all I remember from that scene, but the most shocking part came after that, when I was outside with two friends. I saw a nuclear explosion in the near distance, a brilliant, massive fireball shooting miles up into the air, forming a bright yellowish red mushroom cloud.
At first, we followed the instinct to just turn and run, but I caught sight of the buildings exploding in the distance, so I gave up the hope of survival and told my friends, “We get to die now” (Or something along those lines).
The explosion wasn’t like a real nuclear bomb, where we’d be gone in a split second, I had time to watch the city in front of me blast away in “steps” (like layers) towards me.
“The stages are happening too fast now, and there is nothing I can do, maybe I should’ve done something while I still had time…” – was the thought I had while the buildings fell away like burning paper.
I remember deciding to embrace my inevitable fate. I felt the blast disintegrating my body, and I felt myself completely evaporate except for a pulse of adrenalin in my heart.
After that, the dream suddenly had a deep voiced narrator commentating on the scene: “In the morning after, there were still mangled bodies all over the streets…” While that was being said, the scenery panned around buildings that had cartoon like faces and various body parts stuck to the walls… Then I woke up.
Thanks for reading, I appologise if I’ve written it in a convoluted way and caused any confusion.
The dreams I’m getting these days seem to be much more “technically advanced", “cinematically” speaking, with “narrators”, “camera angles” and complex/varied relational dynamics between not only the characters in the dream, but also between the “perceiver and the perceived” (Is anyone else experiencing similar things?).
Any insights would be appreciated, it was the night I read the new C’s transcript where the C’s said 2009 will be a “smashing” year.
Please let me know if I need to be more considerate of the reader in any way.
Thanks again,
J
