Basically there were several actions around the USA this week over the torture photo release debacle. Here in NYC several organizations got together, with World Can't Wait leading the pack, to address the issue and protest for the release of the photos and prosecution of the war criminals who are responsible. I went out on tuesday and thursday, as well as to a free showing to taxi to the darkside on sunday (my review is up here) and my goal was to capture and share the events online. In that vein, here's some of the videos I put together, please pardon their amateurish quality ;D

5.28.09 Grand Central:

Then we marched to the union league club where John Negoponte was giving an award to General Petraeus:

Software recommendations for video/audio editing are most definitely welcome. Hope you enjoy the view!

Hi Puck

I didn't find them too amateurish. You where to the point and the camera work was quite good (steady, good focus). Perhaps I'm just use to watching this sort of thing :P
Maybe its like carrying a tray of drinks, if you focus on the tray too much you can trip up/spill them but if you focus on where your headed your feet/hands etc just get on with the balancing.

As to video editing tools, a quick search shows up plenty

I also liked your review (I'd not heard of the film, sounds good). Keep up the good work!
