I was reading this book and thought it is good one. quick short read , if you are managing kids or people at work. Of course it doesn't work on pathologicals and other complicated situations.

1. one minute clear goal setting
2. one minute praise .
3. one minute reprimand
sounds too simple or naive but powerful, if enviroment is not too toxic with modern day politics.
