Open latest post in new tab?

Instead of having to right click open in new tab, I was wondering whether either the 'new' button or 'last post' button could direct to open the thread in a new tab?

there's no programatic way to do this, as far as I know.
It's either 'open here' or 'open in new window'. there's simply no method to specify 'open in new tab'. would love to be proven wrong on that, btw ;)


so, the easiest way is to hold 'control' then left click a link, to automatically open in new tab.

Gosh, thanks Nomad, I can't believe I didn't know that shortcut

If you have Firefox, you can just "middle" click (using the wheel as a button).
