Other reasons for illness

So I was wondering could there be another 'deeper' reason for one's sickness, besides wrong diet, gluten, chemtrails, stress or whatsoever...

Not sure if you'll understand, but for an example, after talking with my friends, we got to conclusion that problems with my ul.colon are result of me making an excuse for not being successful, not finishing college or doing anything ambitious and praised in my life...so my excuse is : I couldn't and can't do do anything in that condition, my life is hard, and i would have succeed if i were healthy etc...i can admit for myself am mostly coward, who won't even try because am afraid to fail...and i know, it's not flattering at all, actually quite opposite :-[

My friend thinks she's got diabetes because of her guilty conscious about something she did long time ago, and can't forgive herself.
I do believe that a diet plays the important part in this, but why then so many people clearly eating crap and yet they are still healthy?
Well, that's when i thought of this conclusion.

What do you think? Could these be reasons, or just one of the reasons for someone being chronically ill?
After all, we did chose this life we now lead, but am not sure why would i ''press the hard mode button'' :/

Hi aelyrsenn,

The author Louise Hay writes about the emotional links to physical illness. There are numerous references to her throughout the forum you may want to search.

This is a link to one of her books on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Heal-Your-Body--Z-Physical/dp/1561707929/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1350919014&sr=1-3&keywords=louise+hay

Hope this helps.

Yes, the value in that book is in the connections she makes between emotional processes and physical symptoms. I basically ignore the affirmations.
