Our first podcast of 2010

[The rabbit]

Just put a podcast together this evening with music and some talking also . hoping to get one going at least once a week soon. and also to go live like we atempted last year with live phone in. As there are more people around this year to help and contribute to forthcoming podcasts etc we hope to make it interesting.

lot of ideas just have to get organized. If any one has ideas or wish to contribute in some way , let us know.

It has been great to listen to it and the music is well choosen and done.

What I found is that the voice of the speaker is less louder and not that crystal clear (it sounds dull) like the music itself.


Anyway, are you not the creator of the sott.net linked song: "you lied"? I really like that song. ;)

Away with the Fairys recorded the song and made it sound all professional like, but it was first written and recorded by current forum member "Galahad"

WoW ! the names have changed over the years but not the commitment!!!!!
The song (They lied) came from a group of people who have been there from the birth of sott.nett , nay they are the sott. And a project in which one was more than willing to help if possible. I dont even men i helped. these people have changed my entire life , even though for me it is a very slow process. The work here has / is a challenge to every thought one has on a daily basis. The right to choose when a choice is obviously right in your face.

The podcast itself was thrown together whilst on night duty watching over a very young member of our community. Its an idea which we would like to continue with more input and thought . As mentioned before all the input and help is much appreciated.

Oh and while im still editing i did this podcast wih a zoom h4 recorder. Normally i woul ld have lifted the sound using a 12 channel mixer and other toys

Well in answer to your question it was recorded , I received the song in mp3 format and it was an acoustic guitar which played along with the vocals. The original survives , though i have it stored on my old Imac which alas is not working these days. Whether it is still in existence at SOTT HQ I do not know.

Well, to be honest I can't remember if it survives, and I'm not sure it would pass the quality censor! Maybe we'll re-record it one of these days.

One idea that comes to mind - you (or someone) could ask 'the people of Liverpool out shopping on a saturday' or locals of a particular pub what they think about a certain topic or article that you're going to comment on and record their answers. E.g 'How do you feel about being scanned naked in order to fly?' You're bound to get some amusing answers that you could then comment on further.
