It's sad, especially when Hungary was the first country that opened the "fence" to the western world in 1989.

Its so sad to see those people. Bus and train stations, especially public parks in almost all bigger Serbian cities are full of them. I have seen hundreds of them going by foot on a side of the highway. Most of them are Iraqis, Syrians and Afghans, some Libyans. Albanians re-route and going through Montenegro and Bulgaria now. Police was stopping them and placed them at public spaces (free army barracks, empty villages . . .) at the beginning when they entered from Macedonia and Greece, but now there are so many of them so I think the police just gave up. Smart decision IMO, let the responsible for their problem get it solved. Which is the EU.

It is interesting that they are mostly peaceful people, very few incidents with them. Some of them also get to work seasonal agriculture jobs (picking cherries, raspberries and such). There is also one number of them, mostly Libyans and Iraqis who got to Serbia earlier and who really asked for the asylum in Serbia, they got in empty houses and their children starting school here, so they probably will stay. They are not uneducated people just "looking for job", some of them are doctors, engineers, IT specialist. Some number was also educated in former Socialist Yugoslavia, and they mostly stay in Serbia.
