I had a dream a few days ago that I got a parking ticket. Seems as if I'm visiting somewhere before I eventually leave to move my car to another spot. Some time goes by before I realize I need to get back to my car as it's been sitting parked for so long.
So..I go up to it and see the yellowish ticket in the windshield. And it looks like I've been charged for several days, I remember the price seemed pretty hefty. I remember talking to another person in the car about the expense, feeling dismayed to a degree..something about how I could set up a payment plan of $75 a month till it's paid off.
I had this dream right after I called in to work to tell them I would be in a bit later (I had some hours I could use for time off). That morning there was freezing rain and I was concerned about how safe it'd be driving at that early of an hour with ice on the road. And.. I could sleep in later. Anyway, thought a good time as any to call in. Related somehow? Not sure..
What seems more obvious is the fact that the day before the dream (in real life) I took my car in for an oil change and to get the check engine light looked at. Was told by the mechanic of parts that needed to be fixed, costing a decent amount of money, similar to the amount in the dream maybe. And I was thinking that day about how I would be able to pay for it, that I would likely need the assistance from family.
So, good ol' real life leaking over into a dream..
Then there's this description I found, which seems pretty apt in ways..and seems to relate to how capable I feel sometimes to take care of things that need taken care of, like the car needing fixed for example.
I have had the dream stone under my pillow too, most nights since I received it. Insight welcome, maybe others have had similar parking ticket dreams.

Especially when I am obliged to put up with it, and it will actually or eventually disadvantage me. Rules, regulations, parking tickets, they kind of represent the same thing. They just annoy me and restrict me and stop me from doing what I want. Especially if there are too many of them and they serve no purpose. It can be very frustrating. Is there anything like that happening in your life?
