I really like a lot of the actors in this movie, but I have to say it realllllly creeps me out. I don't think I'll watch it, but I think it's interesting. The PTB once again want us to begin feeling comfortable with the "Grey", and to believe that they are physical beings (not hyperdimentional). And from the look of the trailers, that they are 'good' for the most part.

Interestingly, I have found that whenever a huge cast of all the actors I like are in the same movie, the movie turns out to be really bad. I think it's the biggest Hollywood trick -- if it doesn't have a good script/story, just stick a whole bunch of great actors in it so people get intrigued to go see it for that, if nothing else. Cause in the end, it's all about the Benjamins ;)

But do write back on what you thought of it, I'm curious ;D

Saw a brief preview of this film on the TV the other day. The bit that freaked me out slightly was this exchange -

Clive Gollings: Agent Mulder was right!
Paul: Agent Mulder was my idea!

Paul then added something to the effect that (paraphrasing somewhat here) other hollywood films such as Close encounters of the Third Kind, ET and all the others of that ilk were his idea. I couldn't help think of that extract in the 'C's transcripts about that certain ET/ultra-terrestrial group or society that project thoughts and concepts into the minds of film writers, producers and directors about what true nature of the UFO phenomena is (or supposedly is). The name of said group escapes for the moment ... overseers?... quorum?... or something similar. Can anyone recall?

There maybe a lot more scary truth in that attempted comedic banter that most people realise!

Like always. C's said that on the deeper level there's always some truth and this reminded me of the new trailer of transformers(that is called Dark side of the Moon, and there were some suggestions there are alien bases on the Dark side) where there is shown Apollo mission to Moon and when the transmission ends the astronauts start to do their real, secret mission on Moon, and that's finding some alien station/craft/transformer. Clues are there for people who know how to read them. Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay. These two know probably some truth.
