When I was young, I was interested in the idea of wisdom and being wise; the idea of possessing knowledge that was uncommon, but useful. If it's not my self importance talking, I may have sensed a glimmer of the concept that Knowledge Protects. In any case, I was naturally drawn to proverbs; short, clever sayings that attempt to illustrate various truths or lessons. So, I figure I'll share some that I've come up with, and add to the list as I remember old ones or come up with new ones. I don't claim that these will be original or necessarily useful, but it's fun, like a type of poetry, and every now and then I'm thinking about things and come up with a proverb-type sentence as I refine a concept. Sometimes it comes "out of the blue" as well. Consider them as seeds for thought, not fruits of wisdom. ;)
