Physics

Could you clarify what you meant with the
word: "Unfortunately" as it sounds sympathetic
to me, but I could be wrong?

Dant, knowing me, do you think I meant it the way you read it?

I was stating that 'unfortunately for John's desires' that is not how this forum works. It is sympathetic, to the extent that I think it is unfortunate that John is attempting to dictate forum members' behavior according to his limited desires and limited global understanding. It's unfortunate because if his mind were not so closed, he might be able to find the information he is looking for here regarding physics, and much, much more.

Yes, I understood what you actually meant, but the
`other person' could read into it as if in sympathy the
way it was worded. So your reply makes it clear as to
intent (as I truly expected)! Personally, I would not
use "Fortunately or Unfortunately" in that statement
so as to "give each thing its due" and nothing more?

I do hope this was `constructive criticism' as I
learned ALOT from my excessive use of the word:
IMHO and derivatives of the same and avoid using
such phrases once I understood what `opinions'
really meant!

Yours truly,
Dan

It sounds like you are projecting.

Ah, you do have a point, as I honestly
do not know what "John" thinks but rather
what I thought as I read that statement!

Thanks for pointing it out! :)
