Sadly there are a lot of people that still condone this atrocity. Makes me ill every time I hear it.

No other word but Evil can be given to describe those who let occurrences such as these go on without question, justice or, remorse. I find it disturbing also that so many people (at least where I live) don't know or CARE about the war or what is happening in Iraq or Palestine.

Something I thought about the other day was how, (and I am speaking as a soccer fan here) the World Cup has so many people's attention right now. Sunday is the Final, and I was thinking how SO many people know and care about the World Cup, and not 1/3rd of those people imo knows or cares what is happening in Iraq or Palestine, it is such a shame.

Also Lisa, a thought came to me. IF I am not mistaken, and if you want to be "technical" here the sad thing is that Palestinians are "technically" Jews, genetically speaking from my understanding in this matter. And this fact makes this whole war SO much more complicated and disturbing.

Reminds of the pictures from Iraq when people were trying to stop the invasion, listing atrocities from sanctions to UN deny flight in North/South of Iraq. Same evil, different place.
