Places enabling dreams

I am wondering if there is anything to specific places being more conducive to having vivid dreams, of past or future.
I can recall one place on the N. Yuba River in Ca, where as a teenager I had a foreboding feeling as I and my Grandpa passed a set of deer horns locked in combat by the river. The very sight of those 2 horns filled me with dread each and every time I had to pass them.

Shortly thereafter, I had the dream where I was standing on a hill overlooking Sacramento, which was totally destroyed by water, and turning to my brother I said "We tried to warn them".
The next dream near that place was a cabin just up the hill where 4 or 5 men got in a heated argument, and there was fighting and murder. Later on (awake), Grandpa started talking about the old mining cabin up the hill, and we went there. Darned if it wasn't the spitting image of the cabin I saw in the dream, now falling apart.
That's two vivid dreams in one place. One was something that happened, one is something that has yet to happen.

Can specific places be the link to having certain dreams?

I would say a definite - yes. On many levels too. We know rocks and stones can act as magnetic recorders. So, anywhere we are that something significant happened can have an effect. When I was a teen hitchhiking across country, we slept one night in an open air mausoleum in Sault St Marie . Oh my - those were weird dreams - lots of spirits floating about, no doubt. And then if you get away from all the cell towers/EM radiation - that can have an effect. And then our state of being or receptiveness can open a gateway but that isn't really place specific. Traveling in foreign countries - maybe the locale of a past life: that would do it too. Sleeping under a freeway overpass with all that traffic overhead would make for some weirdness. Sleeping in some energy or magnetic vortex or so-called sacred spot - yeah that too. Ha! Falling asleep in church! Or a hospital. Yikes, all those. Near running water, in the wind etc etc
