Jedi Master
I took a nap today. And I had some deep dreams regarding my substance abuse in the past. To make it short I was with some guys I work with at home. My landlord was doing some construction work in the apartment. They were smoking marijuana in the apartment and offered me some. Some of you may know I dealt with substance abuse in the past. So I relapsed and took a puff, the weird thing is I carried it around with me the whole dream in my pocket. I was really disappointed in myself so I believe for the rest of the dream I decided to take a walk. Now here is the strange part of the dream, as I was heading back to my apart something weird was going on in the sky. I can't remember if it was a loud noise or a earthquake but one of the characters in the dream indicated to me and a women something odd is happening. We quickly ran inside my building and looked out my window. And what we seen shocked us, it appeared to be a moon size asteroid that we could see with great clarity. It did not smash into us but remained stationary and on it was writing that was composed of different colors all around the body. It was like a bill board full of advertisements except it look like it was written in a different language.

The next thing I know I zoomed in on the rock and found myself looking at what appeared to be a civilization. It had buildings that resemble I would guess the Greek and Roman periods. The next thing I remember after that is waking up. Another odd thing is when I awoke. It was thunder storming and while thinking about the particular part regarding the surface of the space rock, a very loud thunder strike took place that instance. The thunder strike nearly scared me have to death. It probably is not related but I literally was reminiscing on that particular part at the exact same time it happened.

I have had many planetoidal dreams in the past but can never make any sense out of them. Hopefully with feedback I can digest this a little bit and have a better understanding of what they could mean.

Feedback and suggestion are welcomed.

Interesting dream, celtic. Here's my thought on that. :)

While I don't have any personal experience with substance abuses, I've had interactions with those who did but still had little understanding of it. So, I'm thinking that possibly since this dream begins with your using of marijuana could suggest a need to escape from reality or a taking a "break" from thereof. Your mind could be using this aspect to signal a way to surreality, so to speak.

So, I'll break down your next part of the dream:

A "loud noise or earthquake" could be a "shake-up" as a way to get your attention to things unexpected, thus leading to your heightened sense of fear. When that happens, you would feel compelled to "remember" this dream - in other words, your subconscious mind was trying to tell you something.

So, you ran into your apartment, which suggests a return to familiarity or a place of safety (as a result of experiencing some difficulties or anything unexpected). Then, you looked out your window, which could represent an insight into something that's happening in the past or ahead or what you feeling is going to happen (or something that had happened but it was hidden from your understanding).

Hmm, the very idea of seeing a "moon-size asteroid" could suggest something very large, something that can be very overpowering. Adding that with a "different language" may suggest a mindset that you don't understand with or at least something that you are struggling with. When you wrote "full of advertisements," it could mean something that is presenting itself to you or imposing on you that you don't understand and it's quite overwhelming.

And, the very idea of "zooming in" is focusing your attention on something important. Seeing buildings that likely to resemble either Greek or Roman could suggest "dominant perspective" (Roman) or "intelligent perspective" (Greek). You may have different ideas about Greek/Roman aspects and what they could mean to you.

That's very interesting. Like I said above, the last part seems to be important to you or at least something that some part of you wanting to learn more about. Could it something that you were reading about earlier or currently? Other possibility comes to mind is the past lives involving Greek/Roman periods that could still affect you now.

Personally, I think the idea of seeing anything planetoid-wise could be something that is "overwhelming" you at any given moment. In my experience, I had maybe two or three dreams of such nature and I eventually contributed to something that was overpowering me emotionally and soon enough, I dealt with whatever issues that I had at that time.

Your entire dream seems to have a "beginning-middle-end" aspect where your mind was probably dealing with something rather than having flash images of cosmic nature.

Anyway, that's my thought on your dream and maybe others here may have better suggestions. For what it's worth. :)

Thank you Zadius for the response.

Yes as of lately I been getting back on track with the work. It has been hard for me to face reality because it is so much ignorance and sorrow everywhere I look. It is so much easy to go to sleep and ignore it but that is not what I am about anymore.

A "loud noise or earthquake" could be a "shake-up" as a way to get your attention to things unexpected, thus leading to your heightened sense of fear. When that happens, you would feel compelled to "remember" this dream - in other words, your subconscious mind was trying to tell you something.

I believe so although I am not sure what the message is suppose to be.

The return to safety or familiarity probably signifies me returning to my old habits. I know one of the things I do when I feel overwhelmed with reality is I turn to TV. As of lately I have been anxious about my future outcome. I think in terms of what if I'm not ready to graduate and repeat third density over. I know I should not worry about this now but the thought sends a knot in my throat. It is hard for me to stay on track and maybe this could be related somehow.

I believe so but right know I am clueless.

I think the focus attention could be related to me beginning the work again. As I iterated earlier I have struggled to stay on track so now I must focus my attention on what is important. The (Greek) and (Roman) part is very odd in that I have never really paid that much attention to it. I examined it a couple of times on the internet but never showed that much interest in it. Although I may have interpreted the buildings to be (Roman) and (Greek) it could have been a whole different concept (or so i believe).

Yes struggling with myself and all the despair in the world overwhelms me. But as you said it is something I must deal with, and there might be the message my subconscious was trying to convey.
