Ponerology in action...

The Force is Strong With This One
To quote...

"About 1000 children as young as seven - along with many adults, some of whom were mentally impaired - had been held captive for months and years to work as slaves making bricks for 16 hours a day at kilns in China's dirt-poor northern Shanxi and Henan provinces.

The police did nothing. The state-controlled All China Federation of Trade Unions did nothing. The local Government did nothing.

Communist Party officials did nothing. Indeed, the party chief in Hongtong county, Shanxi province, was the father of the owner of a kiln with 31 slaves, where a worker was beaten to death."

Of interest is how people at my work reacted to this article which is ponerology in action itself...

Those who felt and those who went "unbelievable", "no way", "what ever" or nothing.

I know what you mean. As you know, this is how it is in the U.S., also. People seem not to be able to 'feel'. And if they can 'feel' they don't want to know what is happening. They deny it. Make believe it's not happening. And if it's not happening to them, right now, that's even better.

It's ashame that people are so asleep that they cannot see what is really happening, not only in the world, but to them in their own country.

This just leads us back to the evil magician and his flock of sheep. The psychopaths do, indeed, rule the world.

But, it seems to me, that inevitably, they are going to have an up-close view of these types of things in the not-to-distant future. That is unless we see the arrival of a certain comet cluster. ;)

I'm a little confused. I see three different people (so to speak). This is going to be a really lame attempt at categorizing the three kinds of persons I have in mind by this.

1) Is perhaps alot like you(?), having deep empathy as well as maybe slight (controlled) anger or frustration for these types of scenarios. (Question - A/B influence person seeking C-influences?)

2) Is (in my own opinion) the non-believer type, you know the one that goes, "unbelievable", "no way!" Having seen it but would rather just somewhat buffer it and maybe prefer it weren't true, yet believes it at the same time. Like being aware the world is not exactly as they see it, but sleep is comfy? Sad for a moment but then there's the baseball tickets, work to do or something that is an easy distraction for what was tasting bad. (Question - A influence person seeking B-influences?)

3) The "whatever" person could care less. Almost as if they knew already, don't care, or simply think, "well that's the breaks, it don't affect me." This person doesn't have buffers, just a brick wall of emotionlessness. They're like (again in my opinion) a person who wouldn't help anyone else, maybe they have no remorse, (or maybe even human emotion) but if the situation changes for them and they need help they criticize everyone else if no one helps them. (Question - A influence person not seeking anything - but his or her own, in the dog eat dog world?)

For me and my own slumber I watched the Pentagon Strike video for four days saying "no way, unbelievable." Heh, not that I have yet turned out all right, but these things take time. :) I could be way off but that's how I see it currently. I got caught up with some questions after I wrote this (Question...). Maybe I'm just over intellectualizing, but to me a no way can mean, are you/is this for real? Unbelievable! (person runs off to tell others or saves/favorites the article) Where as "whatever" seems to come from, I don't have time for that junk -or- ask me if I care. Maybe I'm imagining it in different tones (as well).
