Possible Abduction?

Ever since I was a child in the 1950's I've have dramatic futuristic dreams that involved ufos, formations of flying lights, other strange flying machines and 'entities'. The entities were many times deer, cats, birds or strange light-emitting animals. I have written down many of these dreams over the years and to my knowledge I don't think I had ever experienced a time loop, until yesterday. I only learned recently about time loops from Laura's books and this site.
Last night I dreamed that I was screaming and yelling at some entities to get off my property. They were running around and towards a blinking blue and red light in the trees behind my yard. Then I experienced being held down on a table and I could feel the emotions rising in me until I screamed to let me go and I struggled and freed myself from the bondage.

The interesting things about that dream was that I experienced a raw throat from screaming a full 7 hours before the dream. I commented to my wife at the time about the unexplained sore throat and took some vitamin C to ease it. And 9 hours before the dream both my wife and I saw a female deer and a fawn in our backyard at the very location where in the dream that I was chasing the entities toward the blue and red flashing light.
Moreover, 16 hours prior to the dream I experienced a missing time segment. I was driving to a destination that is 60 minutes away and as I neared the destination I noticed that I had already been on the road 83 minutes.

These dreams can be emotionally draining and I'd like to find a way to guard against these experiences. Our diet is very good since we both are eating low carb and high fat diets with no sugar and no wheat.

I'm sorry you're having disturbing dreams, DougEE!

At this point, I think it would probably be best to avoid jumping to any conclusions. Or at least, best to consider multiple options. For example, the missing time doesn't seem THAT extreme, and perhaps the sore throat and seeing the deer inspired the dream to some extent? Regardless of the cause, it will help to do everything you can to protect yourself against experiencing these dreams.

I'm curious, how long have you and your wife been doing low-carb, high-fat? Also, do you do EE at all? Do you sleep in total darkness? Has anything else been going on in your life, emotionally, in terms of relationships?

I agree with AI on this fwiw

I think when these kinds of dreams happen it's good to note them and even write them down for future reference but my advice would be to make efforts to not identify with them emotionally (that's where the pipe breathing comes in). Otherwise that emotional energy can be used to be directed against you in such a way that this emotional reactive energy may be the 'power source' to power up "phenomenon" (possibly having real components but mixed with imagined components that are based on "interpretations" of these dreams and the subsequent emotional reactions to these interpretations) and if you continue to react emotionally to all this then you'll begin to take any subjective interpretations of what's going on as concrete facts, subjectively reacting/interpreting to it all as something concrete, making all this even more confusing and unnecessarily emotionally draining.

The diet, breathing, and applying the Work principles (which includes dealing with everyday emotional reactions and the resultant inner subjectivity triggered by it) to those things happening in this everyday world gives you a real factual concrete world to work with and do the Work in. Diet is really important too since a lot of our emotional negativity is based on identifying with our negative physical states, that is, from the wrong work of centers where, for example, our emotional center can 'borrow' or connect to a different quality energy from the negative part of the instinctive center, then we can identify with it, and so when we feel physically bad then this can result in bad moods, getting angry, annoyed, irritability etc. I would think that the same energy can be used to enhance subjective (negative) emotional reactions to our dreams as well.

The healthier you are then the less you'll be influenced by the negativity with less of a tendency to identify with it (i.e., making inner narratives), which doesn't mean you wont still experience it but it'll be experienced to a lesser degree and at least you won't be so overwhelmed by it all and that will be an advantage in properly dealing with any negative reactions and experiences in a more objective way.

I agree that the missing time may not be THAT extreme but the traffic on the Sunday morning was almost negligible compared to the night before when I made the exact same trip and the traffic was quite heavy, so to me, the comparison was obvious.
I used to do a full EE but I have slacked off lately. I still like doing the round breathing and sometimes the pipe breathing. I find that I get a lot of hiccups doing EE.
My wife has bee fighting various gastro infections since 2005, but it was in July 2014 when she started fighting the Candida Albicans overgrowth and we then started the low carb high fat diet, as well we installed blackout curtains on our bedroom windows. We found the blackout curtains helped immensely and we both have been sleeping much better since then. As far as other things in our life emotionally, we are blessed with an exceptionally solid relationship, and since we are both retired our only stress is from continually fighting for my wife's health to return to her once healthy state pre 2005. That was when a new dentist insisted that she take Clindamycin, a wide spectrum antibiotic, before he would work on her. That effectively destroyed her gut bacteria and she has fought various issues since then, including C Difficile, IBS, constant diarrhea, Cytomeglavirus infection, Candida Albicans overgrowth, more IBS, more diarrhea, Blastocystis Hominis parasite with hot sweats and bouts of unexplained high anxiety.
Right now we are in the last phase of hopefully conquering the Blastocystis Hominis parasite by using a protocol that we received from the site www.badbugs.org and with any luck the anxiety will also fade away.

We have really cut back on our socializing since having a bathroom always nearby puts a damper on enjoying ourselves. Its actually worked out very well since we have also stopped watching TV and the quietness in the house really enhances the spirit.
Between the two of us, we stay connected to world events, thanks to SOTT, as well as to local events through our local newspapers. Both of us enjoy reading and discussing new emerging ideas that cross our paths (via SOTT or this forum mostly) and we are open minded about trying out new ideas to see what works for us.

The 'entities' felt threatening to me, although nothing was said. I find much of the communication in these dreams involves either telepathy or deep feelings of danger. From similar type dreams in the past, I find the entities very often are luring me into areas that I don't want to go. For example, a beautiful woman will try to take me through a door and when I refuse to go, she changes into an angry ugly looking woman.

Hi DougEE,

I'm not good with interpreting dreams but what you said about the entities trying to lure you to areas you don't want to go and wanting to avoid having the dreams - it made me curious as to how you feel about the "futuristic" things, UFOs and formations of light, in general. Do you feel these are a real threat, or that they might be? Also, you mentioned that you grew up in the 50's - did you ever know anyone who believed they'd been abducted by aliens, or who had seen a UFO?

My daughter likes watching zombie movies and she has had many nightmares about zombies attacking her and/or her children. She read something on the Internet that caused her concern about the possibility of zombies posing a real threat - apparently some people have interpreted something in the bible to mean that actual zombies will at some point be walking the earth.

I was born in 1961 and I've read some stories of alleged alien abductions. However I don't personally know many people who have made such claims but I do know one (someone very close to me) and I've met a couple of others (one of those was pretty messed up from it, to the degree that many people believe he's crazy, but I only met him one time briefly and so I didn't get a chance to talk to him about it, although I would have liked to).

Just one other thing, and I'm really not good with this sort of thing, but I couldn't help notice that you mentioned a beautiful woman who turns ugly when you refuse her request. And you also mention a solid relationship with your wife who is experiencing health problems. Is it possible you subconsciously feel that something you aren't providing for your wife is causing her health problems? Either way I'm sure that's not actually the case, but sometimes when we love someone we can't help but feel responsible for that person's welfare.
