Post not showing

I posted in the Quenelle thread about 15 minutes ago but my post did not appear. Luckily, I had saved it in my drafts, so I proceded to post it 'again'. That's when I got the message

You already submitted this post! You might have accidentally double clicked or tried to refresh the page.

(but my post is not showing!)

So I had to go back in the thread to reply, get my saved draft and try to post it twice before it finally worked.

This had actually already happened to me several days ago but I had chalked it up to me forgetting to click on the 'submit' button. But today I know I clicked the 'post' button.

Anybody else ever encountered this problem?

Yes i have, along with other types of problems with posting. One i got the other day was that there were new replies while i was posting, and when i checked there were no new posts. It happened a few times before finally working.

I actually thought that I was the only one experiencing this! (note to self: "a question not asked leaves a problem unresolved" <paraphrasing the C's>) on my end, it's a repeating theme stretching back months & after many lost posts & battles, (a resolution/zoom thing with the browser being another) I just learned to work around it. So I save, save, save after a paragraph or two. Repeat. Then there's the "your last post was already submitted 30 seconds ago/you already submitted this post! You might have accidentally double clicked or tried to refresh the page" issue. Talk about rage against the machine!

Same thing is happening to me since last summer or so, I think. Whenever I post, the message " You already submitted this post! You might have accidentally double clicked or tried to refresh the page" will appear. So I have to save it before being able to send it again. I thought this was due to my limited competency in computer knowledge with all the mysterious technical vocabulary involved in it .

Let´s see if someone can clear up this apparent mystery so I won´t get nuts each time I want posting. Thank you Mrs.Tigersoap for posting this question!
