I'm saying that the kids should be spared fear, politics and war. The fear being key. Their parents should shield them from it.

I agree with the sentiment in general; in an ideal world, children should be spared fear politics and war. But these are exceptional times, even for the ME area. It is inevitable that all ME children are picking up on their parents' conversations, and by extention the fear and politics. This is just the way things are here now; the reality on the ground.

NB. To moderators. As this thread has evolved into a discussion on the horrors and casualties of war, especially the children, leaving it under the 'Tickle Me' heading seems rather inappropriate. Would it be at all possible to move it to a different heading, please? Thanks. If not, still thanks.
