unless you want to write a mod, PMing other members is discouraged on the forum. That being said, I didn't notice any particular problem with PM. But I'm sure a techie will answer you.

You can use also the "Report to moderator". But doing so, all the mods will have the message.

EDIT:

hmm , looks like "report to moderator" uses same functions as PM system , I cannot sent any info through this sytem too :/
And its kinda important , securitywise :/
